James (Jimmy) K. M. Newton, IV, CCIM

Specializing in the industrial and office markets, Jimmy has provided innovative solutions for occupiers to position them for success in their changing marketplace since 2007. Jimmy offers corporate services to national/international and regional occupiers seeking real estate solutions in Louisiana and Mississippi for leasing, asset analysis, consulting, development, acquisition and disposition. In addition to providing corporate solutions, Jimmy represents regional investors in solving their commercial real estate problems to maximize returns on their portfolio in both the industrial and office markets.

Jimmy holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and served as a director of the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors board. He was awarded the CID Outstanding Achievement Award in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Jimmy is also a member of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, hosted four teams at the the annual Sunbelt Basketball Tournament at UNO Lakefront Arena while the Tournament was held in New Orleans, is actively involved as a member of the Fore!Kids Foundation, which as a 501 (c) (3) corporation has raised $45 million to date providing healthcare, education and hope for over 200,000 children each year through golf events like the Zurich Classic of New Orleans and Jimmy is actively involved in Hogs for the Cause the #1 Fundraiser for Pediatric Brain Cancer.

Jimmy received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Real Estate, concentrated in Finance, from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

He is married to his wife, Tricia, and has two daughters, Susu and Tyler and one son, Marshall. When not helping clients, Jimmy enjoys the outdoors, whether it be fishing, running, hiking, snowboarding, golfing or throwing the baseball/softball with his daughters and son. Live music and college football are also lifelong passions.
